Filippucci's bronzes
are small to life-size. Mentored by Peter & Copper Woytuk,
her "Canus Cubus" Series is an extension of her
ongoing visual dialog about peace through struggle. The boxes
are 'boxes of Hope'...the last thing left after Pandora opened
her legendary box and released evil into the world. The artist's
armless figures, referencing Joan of Arc, are intended to
suggest monumental strength...of will, purpose and endurance.
