Fred Stein's is noted for his portraits
of over 1200 personalities, including Herman Hesse, Eleanor Roosevelt,
Richard Wright, Salvador
Dali, Willem de Kooning, Helen Keller, Carl Sandburg, Indira Ghandi,
Norman Mailer, David Ben-Gurion, Gypsy Rose Lee, Nikita Kruschev, Marlene
Dietrich, John Steinbeck, and Joan Miro - all of which are available.
The photos shown here are
highlights from a collection of 50 limited edition, museum quality,
prints made from the original negatives.
They are numbered, bear the estate stamp and are signed by the
artist's son. The photographs measure approximately 11" x 14" in
16" x
20" white, acid-free mats.

The National Portrait Gallery (Smithsonian),
and numerous other museums as well as private and corporate collections around
